Prince Edward Island’s Spray Foam Services
Our spray foam is specially engineered for the cold winters of Canada by a Canadian manufacturer in Quebec. They know first hand how the foam needs to perform in our winters, and that’s why our foam out-performs in thermal efficiency as the temperature goes down. The colder it gets, the more efficient it gets.
We spray a 2lbs density spray foam. This foam is closed-cell, meaning its thermal properties are from the microscopic air bubbles trapped within the foam. The alternative open-cell spray foam is similar to window fill foam from a can and has an inverse structure, similar to a 3-dimensional web where air can travel through and around. Closed-cell offers more thermal efficiency and has a better ROI per r-value than open-cell. For PEI winters, you’ll want closed-cell, no question.

Benefits of Spray Foam For Your Home
There are many benefits to choosing polyurethane foam insulation for your PEI home. One of the biggest benefits is it’s return on investment or ROI. Compared to other products, spray foam insulation is its own air and moisture barrier and seals as it expands in voids and cracks which limits drafts.
- Mold Proof
- Doesn’t diminish over time
- Superior LTTR (performance in low temps)
- Seals to eliminate drafts
- Best ROI compared to loose or batt insulation
- R5.7 per inch

Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers.
Can spray foam safe in your home?
Yes spray foam is safe in its inert form. During the reaction period at the time of spraying and for 24 hours after the work is completed we require homeowners stay out of their homes until the foam has finished off-gassing.
Can you spray cold surfaces with foam?
Spraying cold surfaces with polyurethane spray foam can cause the foam to cool too quickly and not create a proper bond with the substrate. Make sure the surface area is at least 5°C and free off moisture.
Can spray foam stick to wet surfaces?
If there is a moisture content in wood greater than 20% it will not create sufficient bond. Make sure the surface area is dry and free of condensation, this will also not allow a bond.
